HEALTHCARE COMMUNICATORS SUMMIT

Sept. 12 Cleveland Plus is bringing together Northeast Ohio’s major communication organizations to hold a Healthcare Communicators Summit Sept. 12. The goal is to develop common messaging and identify opportunities where communicators across the local healthcare sector can collaborate and raise national awareness of the region's leadership position.

IABC offers a professional credential program recognizing communicators who have reached a globally accepted standard of knowledge and proficiency in their chosen field. IABC Chicago is conducting a conference call at noon on Sept. 9 for accreditation candidates who want to pursue accreditation and don't have a chapter-wide accreditation program or those who want to start an accreditation completion program. IABC OPENS ARMS TO NEW MEMBERS

Remember ... September is IABC Worldwide Membership Month! IABC will waive the membership application fee ($40 for faxed/mailed/phoned enrollments; $30/for Internet enrollments) for new or lapsed members who join IABC. It's important to note that applications must be received at IABC San Francisco headquarters in September to qualify. This promotion does not apply to current members or students.

Another September-only opportunity is the online open house of the members-only IABC web site. This login--http://www.iabc.com/login/trial.cfm--will not be available before or after the month of September.
